Loop Tag Overview
Hallprint's self-locking loop tags are an easy option for marking organisms and assets in marine and freshwater environments. Like all Hallprint's tags, these are made from a single molded construction that cannot fall apart under normal use. Long term retention, industry leading durability, and minimal skill required for application make these tags an increasingly popular choice for applications unsuited to traditional tags.
Cable-Tie Tag Overview
A version of the self-locking tag which has gained in popularity is the standard approx. 100 mm x 2.5 mm (type SLS) and approx. 200 mm x 2.5 mm (type SLA) cable ties to which are attached our special moulded and outer sheath-protected markers. These are popular for use on macrophytic algae and have been used as a "wrap-around" carapace and claw tag on crabs and as a band tag on marine turtles. A "budget" version of the cable tie tag is also available exclusively through our online store, limited to available inventory in stock.
