T-Bar Tag Overview

T-bar anchor tags are one of the most cost-effective and popular tag types produced by Hallprint. Offering a single molded construction with a protective outer sheath around the coloured and individually numbered marker, built for long term durability and legibility in harsh natural conditions. The rugged nylon anchor and filament is designed to lock behind the dorsal fin rays on most commonly studied finfish species, and is also commonly used on many crustaceans and even some shellfish species.

T-Bar Tags are especially well suited to efficiency in high volume tagging operations. Skilled taggers can achieve extremely high tag retention rates on most commonly studied fish species. Optimal size ranges are specified in the options below, but may vary for your specific application. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions. All T-Bar tags can be customized for color, print, exposed filament length and marker length. FDX-B Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) can be added to all models.
